Gedok 2014

I’ve been working with the Mobius-strip for the past 10 years.
To my mind, it is a representation or symbol of the infinity of time and space. This objectified sign proved to be an excellent model for realizing my visual ideas.

In these Mobius images I placed the strips in different contexts, and one image followed the other to create a series. Initially I multiplied and later reduced the number of strips, and eventually the standard Mobius form disappeared. After a number of years I arrived at a linear system reflected in my current work. In Gedok I would like to exhibit some of these paintings and a selection from a 2004 hologram series.
